DESIGN

  • Design is a skill that everyone has an eye for... and also an opinion on. It shows up in editing, framing shots, and of course branding. This is where your style and aesthetic comes from and it's the basics to every form of art and creation, physical or digital.

People don't have to know color theory or own all the design software to know when something looks good or bad. However, being able to understand those concepts and wield those tools is what makes it possible for you to know why something is good or bad.

  • Of course most of this is subjective, like a style or aesthetic preference, but those nuances don't matter right now. It can be easy to be discouraged when someone critiques your style as "bad" but it may just not be their preference.

We all have a bias towards what we like and tend to emulate that at the start of our creative journeys. Keep these things in mind as you develop the Little Blueberry Gal brand and your style as a creator.
